Silverwood is a theme park located in North Idaho that offers a variety of rides, as well as a water park, an RV park, shows and much more.

The park, which opened its doors in 1988, is the Northwest’s largest theme park with over 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions.

Silverwood Rides and Attractions

Silverwood has over 70 different rides – anything from roller coasters to kids’ rides.

One of the first ones that might grab your attention is the the 191 foot tall steel roller coaster, known as Aftershock (which has speeds of up to 65 mph!). Other popular attractions include Boulder Beach (their 21-acre water park), a 1915 Steam Engine train and two wooden roller coasters, Tremors and Timber Terror.

Scarywood at Silverwood Theme Park

In the fall, Silverwood turns their park into a haunted theme park. This event, known as Scarywood, has rides in the dark, haunted attractions and actors dressed up to scare people.
