Of course, this snow doesn’t typically happen all at once, but spread out throughout the winter months.
Generally, most of the snowfall in Boise will occur during December and January. These two months usually get over half of the year’s total snowfall.
November, February and March have lower levels of snow, and October and April generally rarely get snow.
What are the temperatures during the winter in Boise?
Since Boise does get a decent amount of snow, it’s no surprise that temperatures in the winter are generally around freezing.
During the peak snow months, December and January, you can typically expect to have temperatures with lows in the 20s and highs nearing 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
November, February and March are milder with lows in the high-20s and highs going all the way up to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
