What mountain range is Sandpoint Idaho in?
The Rocky Mountains are one of the most famous mountain ranges in the USA, and many people think that Sandpoint is a part of that range (including myself). However, Sandpoint is actually in the Selkirk Mountains that are a completely different range than the Rockies.
The Selkirk are a part of a larger range that is a part of Canada, called the Columbia Mountains.
Sandpoint also has the Cabinet, and the Bitterroot ranges around it as well.
